umm, maybe you didn't read the kotaku post but nowhere does it mention mass effect at all. so it looks like YOU are the one who thought it was somehow relevant to ME, not them.

How on Earth do you equate a clip of a real life naked woman playing games on a WII with the alleged 'pornography' on Mass Effect? Are you stoned or retarded? Are you upset that this clip might give some the impression that some gamers like to view naked women? Heavens, the outrage!

Wow this is stupid argument. The two were not related.

Um, you guys need to learn how to read.

The article doesn't compare Mass Effect with the Kotaku video.

It clearly outlines that shoehorning a naked Shay Laren onto a gaming site just because she spends a few seconds with a Wiimote in her hand isn't going to help curb current media trends that are vilifying video games at every opportunity and wrongly painting video games as being linked with nudity and pornography.

The title of the article alone shows the author is trying to make a link, however tenuous that includes Mass Effect. If he is trying to suggest that all gaming sites refrain from any titillating content in order to not further ideas that some video gamers like naughty bits, then he should title it that. The Mass Effect controversy was about the alleged (and non-existant) content of porn in a video game, not about any racy video on a gaming site. The author is clearly stretching the point in order to hopefully pull extra hits on to his article. A transparent ploy and one folks are right to call him on.

Cmon now. A naked chick playing a game and thats a bad look for gamers everywhere. I understand what your'e arguing and I think your'e basically generalising the issue just like FOX NEWS did with Mass Effect. Dude before the LIVE DESK show would you have even thought twice about it. If your'e gonna scrutinize the industry now then FOX have won. This is probarbly no the first time you or I have seen something like this and it won't be the last. Just look and move on like the rest of us.

If someone had said that this made bowling look bad, they might actually have an argument. Everybody knows that those bowlers are all a bunch of perverts. I think I blinked and missed the part with the Wii, though.
