well done ebgames
in your position i do the same
microsoft think can do anything without be held responsible
its time retailers unite and show microsoft that microsoft need retailers more than retailers need microsoft, and you ask only for fair game, that microsoft sell faulty xbox 360 to you and dont replace them, its the same as selling you empty boxes, just fraud, more if micosoft sell you that xbox when microsoft know those will fail
microsoft is used to iron fist in software monopoly, ask dell, hp, acer, lenovo, etc., they have to ship faulty vista machines, and overpay for that 'new' windows, every component in a laptop or pc have seen their price shrink over the years, some more than a half, the only component that raised price is windows, thats iron fist monopoly software
but microsoft is not the monopoly in videogames like in the software world, shame on you if you let microsoft do wathever they want
i say drop their brand instantly and when they miss you (ohhh, they will, trust me) charge them not the 10 million but 20 million, show them the same iron fist they are used to use

I think you overstate it abit. I agree that Microsoft is being ....... well I am not allowed to rype what I think, to sell a faulty load of xbox's and not spitting out the money to replace them. The problem is that eb has good customer relations and allow them to return there faulty machines so eb will do the run around with ms instead of making the customer cope with it. But this doesn't fit in with microsofts plans and they don't wanna replace all the systems.

However I think that both ms and eb will suffer from this situation. Ebgames is a major game retailer and the xbox is 1 of 3 main consoles, it would be hard for eb games maintain its place a leading gaming retailer and not sell xboxs. However with a whole lot less retail support the xbox sales will suffer greatly. Obviously neither company wants to be placed in this situation.

MS should just do the right thing and make up for their mistake. I feel a bit sorry for MS, it is a huge expense on a system they have already spent so much on, however they have to own up and fix their faulty equipment.

Another BS insider story that's already been scorched, Google faulty-xbox-yarn-is-nixed.

Seems that all it took was to actually ask the chief executive at EB Games, guess that's too much effort for so called journalists.

i think dropping the brand is a bit extream but i definetly think they should stop selling or buying the products untill microsoft agrees to pay them
anyway australia is more ps3 then almost any other country it would increase sales threefold for sony
as a ps3 owner it would be great to see this happen but si
