Sony drops PlayStation 3 price, introduces new model

Sony has confirmed that the current 60gb model PS3 will drop in price from $600 to $500 effective Monday.

Now here's the surprise... they announced ANOTHER model that will replace the $600 model. This 'new' PS3 will be identical to the 60gb model except it will come with an 80gb hard drive AND a game. I hope you guys like/want MotorStorm because that's what you're getting. Sony drops the price of the 60gb model, introduces new 80gb model.

Maybe at E3... probably after. We'll keep you update should the story develop!

I'll buy a PS3 when I can get a 120 or more gig version for $399 or less.

Till then, I'll enjoy my Wii, which is a great 'social' game console.
