Today Ubisoft announced that Beowulf, the game based on Paramount Pictures' Beowulf movie, is now available on store shelves. The video game, developed by the award-winning team that created the original Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter in Ubisoft's Tiwak studio, features exclusive content that is unexplored by both the film and the classic tale, extending the adventure through 30 years of the Beowulf story. "The Beowulf video game extends and complements the motion picture experience beyond the silver screen, said Sandi Isaacs, Paramount Pictures. "Our goal has always been to provide fans with authentic and compelling game play timed to coincide with the opening of our film, and this game delivers on this promise."The Beowulf video game is available for the Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, and Windows PC.
